| site_overview | 十勝太若月遺跡は、十勝川の河口付近北側の河岸段丘上に所在する。標高15～40mの段丘上は草地となっており、その尾根部には擦文時代の聚落跡が未だ埋まりきらない堅穴となって約60基が馬蹄形状に分布し、残存していた。1971年、浦幌町は第2次農業構造改善事業の実施に踏み切り、当該遺跡はその事業のために破壊されるところとなり、1972年から３ヶ年にわたり、遺跡地の1/3を発掘した。その結果縄文早期～近世アイヌ期に亘る墳墓と住居跡を主体とする遺構が多数検出された。 |

| current_condition | 全体に腐食がまわっているが全形を覆うことはできる。柄の部分（木製）の保存もよい。4ケ所に破損していたが接合した。しかし、取扱い慎重を要する。柄部には、2つの「く」字状の彫刻がなされている。 |
