| site_overview | 青森市から南東約2km、標高約65mの見晴らしの良い地にあり清い湧水の流れる小川をはさんで北東側を1遺跡（大洞B式から同Ｃ1で包含）南西側をII遺跡（後期から大洞BCまで包含）とし一帯の通称をとって「玉清水」遺跡としている。戦後、開拓が始まって遺跡が破壊され、遺物が散逸、更に都市計画によって遺跡が消滅する危険にさらされた為、青森市教育委員会は昭和40～41年にわたり発掘調査をし大規模な遺跡と確認した。

| current_condition | 縄文晩期。楕円扁平な土版のほぼ半分ほどの残欠である。一面に両眼を思わせる線刻があり、その間に円形の窪みを配しそれより縦に一線を刻している。両面にC字文、S字文、及び洞文等が施されている。色調は褐色及び灰黒色を呈している。胎土は灰黒色、焼成が良く固くできている。 |
