| site_overview | 本貝塚は迫川の遊水地帯（今は水田）の一角につきだした細長い丘陵上にある馬蹄形の貝塚（東西300m×南北250m）である。昭和43年度の調査では、縄文時代前期・中期の遺物と中期末の住居跡3軒が検出された。 |

| current_condition | 直径約7mの円形プランをもつ、壁の現高は約30cm、堅穴の内側には周溝（巾30cm、床からの深さ20cm）がある。周溝の内側の床面には、0.5～0.7mの比較的大きな掘りこみがある。これらは桂穴と考えられる。炉跡および焼面が3ケ所ある。
埋甕が中央を通るようにいくつか並らぶ。伴出の土器は大木10式である。中期。 |
