| site_overview | 本県の南西部を縦走している出羽丘陵の東端に位置し、標高約80mの丘陵上にある町立新成中学校グランドより発見された遺物を総称している。この付近一帯は「雄勝城」の擬定地である足田遺跡の中心地域であり、第2次調査時に、当時の調査員にもち込まれた遺物がこれである。従って、遺跡としての性格は勿論、その出土状態や〓序的考察も不明確であり、遺物以外は推定である。 |

| current_condition | 石刃の中でも、どちらかと言えば形のととのった部類に属するもので、貢岩製のものである。この石刃が作り出される前に、その全面に背面側からの加撃によって剥離がなされている。 |
