| site_overview | 本県の南西部を縦走している出羽丘陵の東端に位置し、標高約80mの丘陵上にある町立新成中学校グランドより発見された遺物を総称している。この付近一帯は「雄勝城」の擬定地である足田遺跡の中心地域であり、第2次調査時に、当時の調査員にもち込まれた遺物がこれである。従って、遺跡としての性格は勿論、その出土状態や〓序的考察も不明確であり、遺物以外は推定である。 |

| current_condition | 石質は玉髄製のもので、本遺跡では、稀少的な石材である。形状からすれば、形はやや整っているもので、調整打面を有し、剝離角は約80～90度の角度を示し、背面左側縁の基部に近い所には、小さなノッチ状の扶入を作っている点に特色が認められる。 |
