| site_overview | 島海山の西麓が日本海に接するところ。庄内平野の北端に北からのびた丘陸の末端に所在する。昭和26年（1951）から27年（1954）にかけて致道博物館が主体となって発掘調査が行われ、縄文式時前期末の洞窟（横穴）、竪穴住居、堅抗、小貝塚などの複合遺跡であることが確認された。出土した土器の一群には吹浦式の名称がつけられ、その標準遺跡となっている。土器は3類に区分されている。 |

| current_condition | 吹浦式第3類に属する、色調は上部は黝黒色をなし、下部は火熱をうけ赤褐色をしている。一部石膏補修し復元してあるが、焼成が良く保存状態も良好である。この土器は堂屋台地の西方、台下の字一本木に接する附近より出土したもの。 |
