| site_overview | 金谷原遺跡は、山形盆地の両端ちかく、最上川左岸の洪積低位河岸段丘上にある。遺跡は南にゆるやかに傾斜するこの洪積段丘面の縁辺に選ばれている。標高117m。沖積面との比高3～5m。最上川河床面との比高約20m。石器の散布する範囲は、約400m2あまりである。石器群は、表土（約20cm）の下の黄褐色紐粒砂質壌土層（約15cm）中から出土する。 |

| current_condition | Ｋ175：両設打面のある中形の石刃核。打面は調整されている。上面（その1）の打面は7調整面、下面（その2）は1面-平坦打面。石刃の剝離面は上からが9面、下からが8面（いずれも調整剝離面をふくんで）みられる。典型的な円筒形石刃核である。
