| site_overview | 久慈川河口に面した丘陸上の端近くに前方後円墳1基、円墳4基の群集墳がみられる。そのうちの1号3号円墳が南高野小学校を建設する際に発見された。主体部はいずれも小形竪穴式石室で、1号墳の石室からは直刀1、鉄鏃、刀子、管玉馬具が出土し、円筒埴輪がめぐらされている。3号墳石室からは直刀2が出土し、形象（武人）円筒埴輪がめぐらされている。 |

| current_condition | いずれも腐蝕が進行しており、現在は薄い板状のものになっている。金具は両方ともそろっているが、左のものは下げ尾と考えられる鉄製のクサリが欠落しており、他の図版に馬具金具類に見いだされるものであろう。
中央部より出ている棒状のものは右廻りにねじりがみられる。 |
