| site_overview | 栃木県の西南部を南流する渡良瀬川の北方約1.5km、万葉集にうたわれる三毳山の南方約1kmにある旧越名沼に面する宝木ロームをのせる台地の西端にある。土塁状を呈する環状の高まりを中心とする縄文時代後期後半を主体とする集落跡で、環状集落の西側は既に破壊されているが、南北径160m、東西径100mにおよぶ。遺構・遺物はこの土塁状の高まりの部分にあり、外側と中央凹地にはない。この高まりの部分の標高は25.2mで中央凹地よりの比高は約2mである。 |
