| site_overview | 宮久保支台の南西部一帯は貝塚文化展開期の遺跡が他にすぐれて群衆する地域である。本遺跡は前期から引きつづき、貝塚文化の最盛期まで、かなり大きな集落を構成した遺跡である。宮久保支台の大柏谷に面したところに位置する根古谷遺跡を谷口として、全長400mほどの小さな支谷が北東方向に延びているが、向谷遺跡はこの小支谷の最奥部の台地上、標高20mほどの所に残された遺跡である。 |
