| site_overview | 遺跡は国鉄総武本線物井駅北西1.5kmの千代田農協事務所一帯の台地で、千葉県住宅供給公社の住宅団地建設のため、現地測量のとき発見された。付近周知の遺跡としては、四街道亀崎古墳群、佐倉大篠塚遺跡、新開遺跡が挙げられるが、本遺跡隣接地域からの報告はなく、遺跡発見当初は縄文式土器、土師式土器の破片がかなり広範囲にわたって散布していた。 |
