| site_overview | 京所廃寺跡は府中市大国魂神社の東方50mに位置し、現在薬師堂がある。古瓦はこの附近より神社境内の東部にかけて散布し、薬師堂に隣接した墓地内に数個の礎石と、塔の心礎が認められる。古くは武蔵国分尼寺に想定されたこともあったが、現在では独立した別の寺跡と考えられている。古瓦は武蔵国分寺跡と同種のものであり、また伴出の古瓦中には鎌倉時代のものもある。 |
