| site_overview | 片瀬海岸に注ぐ境川左岸に位置し、現在の河口から約4km上流にある。
相模原台地が南方相模湾に向かって舌状に延びた洪積台地上の西縁にあり、標高約50m、境川水面との比高は約40mある。境川に向う西崖は、緩漫な傾斜で、その中腹に遊行寺があり、西富貝塚も遊行寺の敷地内に所在する。貝層は小規模で、5ブロックあり、最厚部で20cm内外である。貝層上は堀之内式、加曽利B式、貝層中・貝層下は堀之内式を出す。竪穴住居址2、敷石遺構2を調査 |

| current_condition | 第4号址張出部付近出土の土器である。器形は恐らく小さい底部から口緑部に向ってラッパ状に開らく深鉢形である。胴下半から底部を欠損する。口緑部に2本の並行する粘土紐が貼付され、更にこの粘土紐を、縦に粘土紐で数ケ所連結して装飾し、胴部に沈線で囲まれた不定形の磨消縄文帯がある。色調は暗褐色を呈し、器面は焼成前に研磨されている。焼成は余り良好ではない。 |
