| site_overview | 片瀬海岸に注ぐ境川左岸に位置し、現在の河口から約4km上流にある。
相模原台地が南方相模湾に向かって舌状に延びた洪積台地上の西縁にあり、標高約50m、境川水面との比高は約40mある。境川に向う西崖は、緩漫な傾斜で、その中腹に遊行寺があり、西富貝塚も遊行寺の敷地内に所在する。貝層は小規模で、5ブロックあり、最厚部で20cm内外である。貝層上は堀之内式、加曽利B式、貝層中・貝層下は堀之内式を出す。竪穴住居址2、敷石遺構2を調査 |

| current_condition | 第4号址覆土中出土の土器である。割合に小形の深鉢形土器で、口唇部が内湾する。器面は無文であるが、棒状工具を横に押しつけて全面を横方向に擦って整形している。粗製土器であり、胴下半部から底部にかけて、かなり火熱にあっている。底部は細かい網代底である。色調は暗褐色を帯び、焼成は不良である。 |
