長楕円形を呈した小形の打製石斧的な石器である。無稜線で、表～裏、全面が、大～小の多面剥離の手法で美しく整形しているが、小局部にリタッチを追剥ぎ付刃している。器形は横の断面がレンズ状に、また全身長の縦の断面は紡綞状を呈した扁平性の、丸刃型の刃器で、打製石斧というより、全周附刃された利器であって、大形の皮剥ぎなどの用途に使用されたものであろう。褐色シャール・スタイン製。 |
