本例も長方形厚肉の「短冊型」に属す大形の打製石斧で、粗らい割剥によって巧に形が整えられ、裏面に浅く大振りに「平剥」手法で平滑に処理されている。器形は中央部が中高を呈し、長い縦の断面で有角も長台形をなす。注目される先端の刃部は、「平刃型」づくりで、連続した数打のステップ・フレーキングを中心部まで抉及させ、「階段状」の特殊形体の構造をしめしている。硬質砂岩。 |
