平刃「短冊型」の打製石斧で、石御は厚い平板状をなしている。
表面は周緣から中高の中央に向けて、階段状に打撃剥離して、形を整えている。裏面は浅剥離で平坦性につくられ、先端の刃部は裏面から縦方向のやや浅い抉りの一撃によって、「丸ノミ型」に刃を作出している。稀例形体の石斧であるが、木工具性の利器とみられる。硬質砂岩製。187g。 |
