| site_overview | 藤橋遺跡は、長岡市の市街と相対する信濃川の西岸にあって、八石山系の支脈、長峰丘陵の東側の裾に位置し、東の越後平野の沖積水田地帯に向けてひろがる。低い扇状傾斜の広い畑地に所在する。この地帯は、西方からの浅い谷による水田をふくみ、東～西400m、南～北250mにわたる遺跡は9地点に、縄文中期から後、晩期から弥生時代に及ぶ遺物の包含地が点在、古くから知られた大遺跡で、多くの資料が採集されている。 |
