楢の木平遺跡からは、20点の石核が検出されたが、この石器は垂直剥離技法を基幹とした楢の木平石器の典型的な石刃石核である。周辺からする石刃剥離によって、たえず上部の打面を調整しながら工程がすすめられたもので、その周縁には、上～下から垂直に剥離された縦長の剥離痕跡が多く残されている。白色のシャール・スタイン材。 |
