長さ8cmほどの棒状を呈した石核で、黄褐色のシャール・スタインを材石としている。周囲の垂直に施された剥離痕跡は、最広幅は1.5cmをしめし、上及び下の方向からの相互割取の技法が認められ、またその打面も大ぶりの調整痕跡が残されているということは、この石核の良質石材に起因するものであろう。 |
