| site_overview | 柴山湯の南西畔、片山津温泉の南1kmの台地上にあり、東西200m、南北450mの範囲に拡がる4世後半から5世紀中葉に亘る玉造集落跡。昭和35年の発掘調査で玉造工房址を設けた竪穴住居跡、6棟を完掘。翌36年開田工事には20戸分を確認している。本玉造集落で作られたものは管玉・鍬形石・車輪石・石釧等である。 |

いずれも底面を平滑に研磨、管状穿孔具による0.5cm程度の巾の周縁が残る。（4）は頂点を中心に放射状に10面の研磨面があり、周縁も磨いている。（5）は剝離痕を残す。
本品の完成形は紡鐘車又は合子蓋と推定されている。 |
