| site_overview | 天竜川支流の小沢川の河岸段丘縁辺に展開する東西600m南北250mの範囲に亘る縄文時代中期および平安時代の集落遺跡である（標髙755m）昭和43年3月西天土地改良事業で破壊されたがその際中心部3.2ヘクタールを現状保存とし30アールを発掘調査した。調査により発見された遺構は縄文時代中期に処属する竪穴住居址54特殊遺構5平安時代竪穴住居址4計63で多数の遺物を出土し 縄文土器は当地域の標準とされる |

| current_condition | 第29号竪穴住居址より出土した深鉢土器で口縁に4箇の小波状突起をもちそれよりややしまる頚部に至る間は半截竹管による細密な並行沈線と爪形文を並行し頚部以下の地文は全面LR縄紋を施しその上に半截竹管による剣先状の文様を並列して飾っており 五領台式文化の系統を引く土器として注目してよい |
