| site_overview | 本遺跡は上伊那郡宮田村中越にあり、飯田線宮田駅から北東800m、国道153号線から東へ300m、最近開通した一般国道153号線バイパスより東へ100mほどにあり宮田中学校の北に位置している。天竜川の支流である大田切川の扇状地左翼の堆積面で一帯は畑地である。附近一帯は古く中越西ヶ原とよばれ縄文期の大遺跡地帯として知られていた。中越遺跡の範囲は30アール以上の広がりをもつもので、調査により52ヵ所の住居址を確認している。縄文早期末～前期初頭の集落址である。 |
