| site_overview | 昭和36年地元の一中学生が一個の土偶をこの地で採集したことが遺跡発見の端緒であった。
斑尾山東麓は洪積台地のよく発達した所である。この洪積台地は千曲川に注ぐ小河川によって浅い谷をいくつか形成している。遺跡はこの浅い谷に挟まれた一台地上に存在する。谷側には清水が豊富に湧出している。縄文式中期の土器、石器を多量に出土し、土偶の出土の多いことが特色である。 |
