| site_overview | 掛川市西方2km、小笠山丘陵地帯の西北端に位置し、洪積世のやせた丘陵の中腹に存在した横穴墳である。奥行6.1～6.4m、最大巾4.36m、高さ2.6mの玄室の中央に長さ4.5m、巾3mの巨大な造り出し石棺があった。羨道部は巾1.05m、高さ1.9m、長さ1.2～1.3m、その先に長い墓道がつく。工事中発見のため、出土状態は不明のものが多い。工事により破壊された。 |

| current_condition | 鉛黒色、滑沢を呈し、若干緑銹が出ているが、銅質は良い。鏡面には滑面を残すところがある。鏡背中心に円座鈕、内区に四乳を配し、乳を抱き込むように獣形を、その間に神像を置く。外区は、半円方形帯を経て、変形唐草文帯に終る。玄室中央の棺内奥に副葬されていたと聞くが、正確な位置は不明である。 |
