| site_overview | 三方原台地の東縁で、市内半田町から浜松城付近までのおよそ7kmの範囲内に200基ほどの古墳が群集しており、三方原古墳支群と名付けられている。本墳は三方原古墳支群の主座をなすものと考えられるもので、直径49m、高さ7.2mの規模を有し、北西部に方形壇状の造出しを付設する円墳である。主体部は2つあり、第2主体からは短甲をはじめとする112点の鉄器類を出土させ、造出し部から石製斧頭等141点の遺物が検出された。 |
