| site_overview | 東三河を貫通する豊川の河口近くの沖積地に所在し、この地方における弥生文化の初頭から古墳時代にいたる歴代遺跡である。昭和22年から27年にかけて発掘調査が行われ、多数の竪穴や住居址が見出された。なかでも泥炭層から弥生式中期前葉の木工が出土して注目された。現在は遺跡の一部が史跡に指定され、復元家屋を中心に史跡公園になっている。なお周辺には相当範囲に未調査部がある。 |
