| site_overview | 葛籠尾崎付近で大正13年漁師の網によって完形の縄文式土器が引き上げられて以来、数多くの土器が発見され湖底遺跡として有名になった。しかも、この地域は水深が非常に深く最深部は70mをはかり、非常に急斜面をなす湖底谷の斜面がその遺跡である点で他の湖底遺跡と趣を異にしている。ここにあげた最初の5個は滋賀県教育委員会によって実際に水中に入って調査されたものであるが、他はすべて漁師の網によって引き上げられたもので出土状況は不明である。位置も葛籠尾崎地区とは限らず、余呉川河口等の浅い所もある。 |
