| site_overview | 標高6mの西摂平野のほぼ中央にあり、東流する猪名川左岸に接している。昭和40～41年にかけての発掘によって、遺跡は弥生時代のほぼ全期間にわたる集落址であり、東西110m南北120m以上の規模をもつことが確認された。三軒の住居址、方形周溝、溝、数千に及ぶ小穴が検出され集落内からは弥生時代中期の壷棺、甕棺をはじめ後期以降と推定される土壙墓、木棺墓も検出された。 |

| current_condition | 第2号墓と呼称、南北方向の木棺墓である。
棺の南端寄りに歯が遺存していた。墓壙の下底で墓として確認されたため、詳細については不明である。
木棺は底板（長さ200cm、巾50cm）と蓋の一部とが残っていた。底板は一枚板らしく蓋は土壙に縦に渡したものである。 |
