| site_overview | 城の山古墳は北東に派生する狭い丘陵部の突端に位置している。
古墳は南北径36m、東西径30m、高さ5mの円墳である。
墳丘は地山を修飾加工して、円形に整え、わずかに盛土を行う。
内部主体は、主軸を東西に向けた8.9m×2.9mの墓壙の中に6.43m×0.6mの木棺が安置され、頭部を東に向けて埋葬されていた。 |

| current_condition | 青銅質の鏡で、有節重弧文圏座に囲まれた円形の鈕を中心として内区に6個の円圏座乳を配し、その間放射状に1個ずつの神像と獣形を交互に配置、外側文様帯には、円圏座乳10個によってわけられ10個の動物文の図形を配置。
三角縁内側の斜面上に幅の狭い直行櫛歯文帯がめぐり、さらに外向鋸歯文帯が配されている。 |
