| site_overview | 南面した古い海浜砂洲上の遺跡。東西、約70m、南北約50mの範囲に貝類が散布する。遺跡上は温室となり、民家の庭となっているが、表土下に50cm～60cmの混貝土層があり、縄文前期末～後期の層が層位的に重っていた。その下層は砂層となり、縄文前期前半の遺物を含む。混土貝層中には、縄文埋葬もみられた。里木I、II、III式、船元I～IV式の標準遺跡。 |

| current_condition | 縄文前期末の里木I式土器。破片を接合して複原してある。器胴下半は、破片なく推定複原。ごく薄い器壁の土器で、全面に斜行縄文を施し、器胴上半に突帯をめぐらし、四つの突起を持つ波状口縁、キャリパー状の器形を示す。瀬戸内地方の縄文前期末の典型的な土器。 |
