| site_overview | 南面した古い海浜砂洲上の遺跡。東西、約70m、南北約50mの範囲に貝類が散布する。遺跡上は温室となり、民家の庭となっているが、表土下に50cm～60cmの混貝土層があり、縄文前期末～後期の層が層位的に重っていた。その下層は砂層となり、縄文前期前半の遺物を含む。混土貝層中には、縄文埋葬もみられた。里木I、II、III式、船元I～IV式の標準遺跡。 |

| current_condition | 船元I式土器B類（和歌山県の鷹島式土器と同巧）。中期初頭。口縁から胴部にかけての破片約1/3を接合して複原してある。底部は全くない。大粒の斜行縄文に薄い凸帯爪形を施してあるキャリパー状の土器。口縁をめぐる凸帯上には貝圧痕文がめぐる。 |
