| site_overview | 福岡市の西郊、早良平野の西側境界にジグザグに入り込む低丘陵上にある遺跡で、丘陵の高まりを単位としてB、C、Dの三地点にわかれて存在する。B、D地点は竪穴住居址帯で、C地点はそれらの墳墓となっている。弥生時代の終末から古墳時代の初頭期に及ぶ遺跡で、この地方の土師器の編年の基準となっている。又墳墓は変換期のもので、発生期の古墳研究に欠かすことのできない重要なものである。1970年造成のため湮滅。 |

| current_condition | C地点墳丘南側溝の外側より単独出土の鉄製鋤先である。一枚の長方形鉄板の両端を折り返し、木製台部を着装するための袋部を作っている。左側袋部付近には若干の木質部が残存する。銹化はあるが、保存良好。 |
