| site_overview | 福岡市の西郊、早良平野の西側境界にジグザグに入り込む低丘陵上にある遺跡で、丘陵の高まりを単位としてB、C、Dの三地点にわかれて存在する。B、D地点は竪穴住居址帯で、C地点はそれらの墳墓となっている。弥生時代の終末から古墳時代の初頭期に及ぶ遺跡で、この地方の土師器の編年の基準となっている。又墳墓は変換期のもので、発生期の古墳研究に欠かすことのできない重要なものである。1970年造成のため湮滅。 |

| current_condition | D地点の包含層の上層（古墳時代初頭-宮の前III式）からの出土で、大小二類の石錘のうち、小型の部類に属するものである。二つ共、折れてはいるが片方は紡錘状をなし、他方は円柱状をなす。中央に縦方向の浅い溝を入れ緊縛に便利を供している。いづれも滑石製。保存状態は良。 |
