| site_overview | 玄界灘に面する古遠賀湾の西側に、縄文時代にはもう一つの入江があったことが知られ、その周囲の砂丘上に位置している。昭和46年の調査で、ハマグリ、カキなどの海産の貝類が層をなし、縄文時代後期の多類の土器、骨角器、石器が発見され、埋葬人骨も1体発見された。 |
