| site_overview | 法鏡寺跡は宇佐市を貫流する駅館川左岸に位置する寺院跡である。昭和45年度の発掘調査により、金堂推定遺構と講堂推定遺構を検出。法隆寺式伽藍配置の可能性が指摘された。塔、中、南門等は未確認である。出土瓦は法隆寺系のものを主とし、百済系単弁軒刃瓦を多く出土し、新羅系古瓦を出土する虚空蔵寺と対比される。 |

| current_condition | 内区はやや肉厚、花弁は8葉で全体丸く、反転もみられる。
中央の蓮子は磨滅が著しく、色調は淡黄褐色を示す。
周縁部は一重圏線をめぐらす。この類と同タイプのもので別に素縁のもの、2重圏のものがある。 |
