（承前） 本町七の町にT字で交叉して、南北に通ずる街が酒田町の主道主街の一つで、秋田町、伝馬町である。秋田街道であり、その一街に伝馬街を形成して、交通宿駅の面目を伝えている。伝馬町の馬は、３６人衆から飼馬の権をとりあげて、伝馬に切りかえたといわれているが、酒田藩入封後の町づくりを示しているのであろう。 |
