明治11年11月 福島県の調査による『岩代国伊達郡佛堂明細帳』によると、この佛像の由緒は、「霊山国司北畠源中納言顕家の寄附により安置す」と記されているが、さだかではない。しかしこの様式の佛像には、福島市大森城山観音堂あるいは福島市春日町慈恩寺の木造聖観音立像がみられる。いずれも地方作のものであろう。 |
