江戸時代福島藩領であった腰浜村に賤民が居住していた地域があり、通称ジウが屋敷（旧腰浜村字下釜）と称されていた。その北西の端にあたるところで畑の深耕中、地下約40cmくらいのところから発見された。メダイは青銅製品で青緑色に腐蝕してはいるが全部で10個出土した。
これはかなり腐蝕しているが、IHSらしい文字が認められキリスト像であえろう 下は三本の釘 裏面は無原罪の聖母像 |
