江戸時代福島藩領であった腰浜村に賤民が居住していた地域があり、通称ジウが屋敷（旧腰浜村字下釜）と称されていた。その北西の端にあたるところで畑の深耕中、地下約40cmくらいのところから発見された。メダイは青銅製品で青緑色に腐蝕しているが、円形1個、楕円形8個 菱形1個、そのうち同じ図柄のものがあり全部で9種類10個出土している |
