嘉永三年に落成した氷川神社本殿の建築を記念して川越鳶職一同が奉納した大形絵馬である。川越十ヵ町の山車が上下二段に五本づつ描かれているが、当時の山車がすべて一本柱で勾欄、四ツ車をもっていたことや、各町の人形はやし等の状況がよくわかり、祭礼と山車の変遷史を知る上に貴重なものである。現在拝殿に掲額されている。 |
