無量寿殿は客殿ともよび、寛永十五年に江戸城紅葉山からここに移築した書院造りの建物である。南西にめぐらした幅一間の入側に四ヵ所の杉戸があり、裏表に二枚一組で極彩色の花卉や動物が描かれている。内一組は裏に絵がないので、合計七図になる。筆者は土佐一得と推定される。これは楓、はぜの紅葉に小禽と芙蓉の花を描いている。 |
