天海僧生から比𠮉山東坂本の梶井門跡最胤親王にあてたもので、元和九年頃のものである。内容で大事な点が二つある。一つは東𠮉山寛永寺の着工が近いことを報じたもので、天海が徳川家光に建議して寛永二年に本坊が完成している。もう一つは東𠮉山の寺主に皇族を推戴したいとのべているが、これも天界歿後の承応三年に守澄親王が迎えられ、輪王寺門跡が先例となった。 |
