松平康親は川越最後の藩主である 松平（本姓 松井）周防守家の藩祖にあたる。徳川家康に仕えて幾多の戦功をたてた。この絵は若年の頃川越藩の御用絵師であった橋本雅邦が描いたもので、具足に身をかため、押寄せの兜をかぶり、家康から拝領した万時の槍を持った姿である。 |
