昭和8年牧之波後80年を記念して銅像の建設を計画し、その原型として作ったもの。作者は浦佐出身で若くて没した井口喜夫氏。牧之には自画像がなかったため、父牧水の肖像画を子孫の写真を参考として作ったと云う。
銅像は資金の関係で製作出来ずに終わった。 |
