法冠をいただき小刀を腰に、太刀を左横に端然と坐し右手に端けいを持ち左わきに軍配をたばさんでいる。
林泉寺所蔵及び栃尾市営安寺地蔵の謙信像とは比べものにならない品位と描画の巧さが表れている。眼光は鋭く、やや左斜上を疑視している。
