| Form / Shape | 山川家は金沢竪町に住んだ大商人で、江戸時代は蔵宿、米仲買商、明治に入って酒造業を営んでいた。全体的に繊細な作りで、町屋型式に書院造り、茶屋造りを加味して町人の富を現わしている。玄関に馬つなぎ環、家の前面には簣むしこという竹製の簀が嵌められている。これによって内部から外部はみえるが、外部から内部はみえない。天井の梁はヒブクラ組みながら、力学的に雪に耐えられるものにしている。百万石城下の大商家の現存唯一のもの。 |
