銭屋五兵衛が加賀藩の御手船御用を命ぜられ、藩財政に協力するとともに、自家所有の船舶をも藩船に擬して利便と巨富をはかったといわれ、嘉永にいたって河北潟干拓事件によって家財を没収された。その後奉行所によって公売されたというものである。 |
