日乗は羽咋郡町村の人。永仁年中日像上人が佐渡から能登に渡る船に同乗し、宗義を論じたが、折伏されて妙成寺を開いた人。画面向かって右に「令法久住」、左に「二世日乗」、右下隅に「日敬寄進」、左下隅に「道浄子息」の墨書があり、その右傍に「信春」の矩形朱文印がある。 |
