| Form / Shape | 仏陀がクシナガラの沙羅双樹の下で入滅（涅槃相）する姿を描いたもので中央台に頭北面西に横たわる釈迦を大きく金泥で書き、四方に双樹を配し、枕頭に仏、菩薩等の八部衆、十大弟子、王侯、さらに禽獣など、多種の群衆を配置し、その表情をよくとらえている。
上部に2月15日の満月が輝き、摩耶夫人が急ぎ降りてくる構図は、諸本と変わらない。 |
